Hi Restless Spirit!

Terunobu Fujimori is a Japanese architect and architectural historian. “The world’s only surreal architect” Terunobu Fujimori constructs structures that look like they were taken from a fairy tale.

when he design he lets unique “primitiveness” emerge in the modern context, often using natural materials and traditional techniques that were forgotten for years or even centuries. The techniques deliver a crude and rough impression – in a positive sense.

This discussion will be structured according to book of Fujimori’s work to recent 2013. We will see his design development in tea house structure, his approach in using plants as surreal element of the house, and his creativity towards materials in order to create particular expression.
