Public Lecture #07 – Design Behaviour Setting

Next week is the third lecture of the Architecture Short Course! A talk by Aviani Armand covering “Design Behavior Setting” will be held on 14th March from 10.00 AM to 12.00 AM.

In this lecture, we are going to scrutinize the relationship between one space and the others to accommodate specific culture, programs and the need of good social value.

Avianti Armand practices architecture and teaches Architectural Critique and Architecture Design Studio at UPH School of Design. After receiving her bachelor degree from Universitas Indonesia in the year 1992, she actively practices architecture and writes books. She got the 2008 IAI awards for her house and Khatulistiwa Literary Award in 2011 for her book Perempuan yang Dihapus Namanya. She’s also the author of Arsitektur yang Lain (2011) and together with david Hutama and Robin Hartanto co-edited ‘Home: a Studio Talk’, published by UPH Press. He was also the curator of Indonesia Pavilion in Venice Biennale 2014.
